A warming non alcoholic version of mulled cider from ” Apple ” by James Rich.
Ingredients
- 1 litre cloudy apple juice
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/2 orange sliced
- 1/4 stick rhubarb
- 1 cm ginger root
- 2 tsps runny honey

Instructions
- Put the apple juice, cinnamon stick, orange slices, rhubarb and ginger root in a large saucepan and heat over a medium heat for 5 minutes. Do not allow to boil.
- Sweeten with the honey and stir to dissolve for another minute. Ladle into heatproof glasses or mugs to serve.
