Ingredients
- 2 tbsps olive oil
- 6 thick rashers streaked smoky bacon diced
- 2 medium onions thinly sliced
- 2 400ml tins organic baked beans e.g whole earth brand
- 2 fresh red chillies deseeded and finely chopped
- 4 tbsps molasses

Instructions
- Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the bacon for 3-4 minutes until the fat turns golden. Add the onions and cook over a medium heat for 5-7 minutes until soft.
- Add the beans and the chillies and simmer until the beans are hot.
- Stir in 2 tbsps of the molasses. Taste and add more molasses and salt if wished.
