This recipe from ” Nigella Christmas” by Nigella Lawson will make about 60 small tortilla chip crostini. If you like the spead could be served as a dip with people dipping in the tortilla chips or alternatively some crudites. You can make the cheese mixture up to six hours ahead, cover with clingfilm and refrigerate. Remove from the fridge about 20 minutes before using to let it soften. Dollop over the tortilla chips just before serving.
Ingredients
- 125 g St Agur or other blue cheese
- 100 g cream cheese at room temperature
- 125 ml sour cream
- 35 g sliced green jalapenos from a jar
- a good grinding White pepper
- about 100 g Blue Corn Tortilla Chips
- 1 tsp very finely chopped chives

- Crumble or mash the blue cheese with the cream cheese and sour cream in a bowl. Finely chopped the sliced jalapenos and stir them in with the white pepper.
- Just before serving dollop the blue cheese mixture on to the chips. Delicately drop over the chives and serve.
