A simple but tasty side dish when green beans are in season. The recipe is from ” Dominique’s Kitchen ” by Dominique Woolf.

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a frying pan or wok over a high heat. Once hot, add the beans and a good pinch of sea salt flakes, and cook the beans until nicely charred, tossing occasionally.
  2. When the beans are nearly done add the garlic and stir fry for another minute or so until the garlic starts to become golden, adding a little more oil if the garlic seems likely to burn. Serve immediately.
