A great way with white cabbage from one of my favourite cookbooks , ” Mowgli Street Food” by NIsha Katoona. She finally opened the Bristoil branch of this restaurant chain about 6 months ago, but I have yet to eat there.
I enjoyed this salad from Diana Henry several times in December and know it is a recipe I will keep returning to. I have served it to accompany sausages and smoked duck breast , but it would go well with many things. I couldn’t always get blackberries, so have used sable grapes as an alternative and it worked well too.
A delicate white fish soup, swirled with garlic mayonnaise . Its similar to bourride from the French Riviera and i found it in Claudia Roden’s ” Med: A Cookbook”.
A simple Tandoori chicken dish from ” Mowgli Street Food” by Nisha Katona. You need to marinate the chicken overnight if possible, but a minimum of 4 hours.
