A refreshingly delicious Hibiscus tea served during Ramadan. The recipe is from ” sumac” by Anas Atassi.
Ingredients
- 400 ml boiling water
- 50 g dried hibiscus flowers
- 500 ml sparkling water
- 2 tbsps rose water
- 1 lemon thinly sliced
- honey as desired

Instructions
- Pour the boiling water over the hibiscus flowers and steep for 10-15 minutes. Strain the tea and refrigerate until cold.
- Mix the hibiscus tea with the sparkling water, rosewater and lemon slices. Add honey if you like.
- Serve the tea with plenty of ice cubes , garnished with the dried rose petals.
