This is from Madhur Jaffrey’s ” Far Eastern Cookery” .
Ingredients
- 1 small garlic clove peeled and crushed
- 1 spring onion
- 4 tbsps soy sauce
- 2 tbsps distilled white vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp roasted sesame seeds
- 1/4 tsp Chilli powder

Instructions
- Trim the spring onion and cut it crosswise into very fine rounds- you only need 1 tbsp.
- Combine the garlic, 1 tbsp spring onion, soy, vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, sesame seeds and chilli powder in a small serving bowl and mix well.
