This is from Romy Gill who has a restaurant in Thornbury which i intend to visit one day very soon.
Ingredients
- 6 tsp sunflower oil
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 10 g fresh garlic peeled and grated
- 10 g fresh ginger peeled and grated
- 250 g white onions peeled and finely chopped
- 100 g fresh tomatoes finely chopped
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp fennel seeds crushed
- 2 tsp Chilli powder
- 600 g diced boneless lamb
- 100 ml water
- 100 ml coconut milk
- A sprinkling of chopped fresh mint
