Cherry and Blackberry Compote

Ingredients

fresh red cherries
stoned
1
lb
fresh blackberries
3
tbsps
sugar
3
tbsps
brandy or kirsch
Instructions
Place all the ingredients in a heavy bottomed saucepan. Cover and cook for 5 minutes on a medium heat.
Serve hot or cold, with cream or yoghurt.
