Chicken with Honey and Ginger (4)
Ingredients

vegetable oil

onion
peeled and cut into wedges

lb
boned and skinned chicken thighs
cut into 2″ pieces

plump garlic cloves
peeled and thinly sliced
1
inch
piece ginger
peeled and finely shredded

honey
2
tbsps
fish sauce
2
tbsps
soy sauce
1/2
tsp
5 Spice Powder
black pepper
coriander sprigs
to garnish
Instructions
Heat the oil in a wok over a high heat. Add the onion and stir fry until lightly browned.
Add the chicken and stir fry for about 3 minutes until browned.
Add the garlic and ginger and continue to stir fry until fragrant. Stir in the honey, fish sauce, soy sauce and 5 spice powder.
Toss to combine the ingredients and cook until the chicken is nicely glazed with the sauce, about 3 minutes. Transfer to a hot platter.
Sprinkle with the black pepper and garnish with coriander. Serve with rice and a vegetable dish.
